Asbestos Project Management
If you own, occupy, manage or have responsibilities for non-domestic premises such as all industrial, commercial or public buildings such as factories, warehouses, offices, shops, hospitals and schools, you have a duty to comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.  In order to comply there are three initial steps to follow: 
  • find out whether the premises contains asbestos, and, if so, where it is and what condition it is in. If in doubt, materials must be presumed to contain asbestos;
  • assess the risk; and
  • make a plan to manage that risk and act on it
We can assist you by providing competent advice and assistance to establish your requirements and then enable you to comply with your duties. This would include organising asbestos surveys and managing the asbestos removal process on your behalf.
 
Note: The Regulations also apply to the common parts domestic premises (i.e. shared boiler rooms, entrance lobby's and staircases or utility areas).
